MAP19 RENOVATION

The project concerns the renovation of a ground floor house of the 90’s located in the community of Pyrgos in Limassol. It consists of three bedrooms, common areas and a large yard at the back of the house where there is a swimming pool. The intention of the owners was to unify the common areas in a single room that is visually connected to the courtyard and the pool. This is achieved by creating large openings in the back of the house. Steps along the facade and a single shading structure create an intermediate rest area between the building and the pool. The selected materials are placed in their natural form and their combination gives a result of high aesthetics and luxury. Each of the bedrooms has its own character depending on the user. In the case of the master bedroom, the emphasis was on creating a space reminiscent of a small “hotel suite”.
